This is the first release of Existential — a contemplative, local-first Oracle that runs entirely on your own machine. It brings the whole daily rhythm together for the first time, complete enough to live with day to day.
A daily rhythm at Home
Your Home surface now carries a daily rhythm. A morning brief opens the day, a daily check-in keeps you company through it, and an evening close-out helps you set it down. Running alongside them is the Chronicle — a continuous account of what the Oracle is making of your notes.
Capturing in the Mirror
Capture a thought however it arrives: type it, speak it (transcribed privately on your own machine), or drop in a file. Each capture lands in your knowledge graph with the Oracle's reading attached, the Chronicle reflects the new work, and the morning brief draws it into its next synthesis.
Console
Console lets you step into a flowing conversation with the Oracle, its replies streaming in as it thinks.
Archive and Settings
The Archive lets you browse everything you've captured by category, narrow the view, and see at a glance what you have shared. Each note is shown beside the connections and meaning the Oracle inferred from it. Settings let you choose where your notes live and set the wake time that anchors each day.
An Oracle that tends itself
The Oracle now tends itself, adjusting its own workings over time as it settles into your rhythm. Every self-change is recorded, and you can reverse any of them with a single click.
